The Owen Lea Foundation Mission
The Owen Lea Foundation exists to provide support to families Living with Neuroblastoma. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in Virginia by the parents, friends and family of Owen Scott Lea. With Owen's guidance from Heaven above, we continuously reach out to any and all families who have a child living with Neuroblastoma. Download our brochure.
The Owen Lea Foundation was established to provide support to families living with Neuroblastoma. The financial and emotional burdens of treating a child with cancer can be devastating. Your assistance will help families alleviate some of these overwhelming costs that are not otherwise covered by insurance-such as travel to and from treatment centers and co-pays for necessary medicines. Sadly in many cases this money also replaces life insurance which is unobtainable for families in this situation. It is our hope that with your assistance, these families can focus their energy where it is needed the most- the care of their child.

EVENTS:
The 2nd Annual Waffie Bowl
The 2nd Annual Waffie Bowl was a great success! We had 88 bowlers, almost double the number from our 1st annual Waffie Bowl! Everyone had a great time, with bowling, food and prizes all night! The Owen Lea Foundation thanks everyone for their participation and the help you gave us in raising more funds to assist the many families living with Neuroblastoma!
3rd Annual Owen Lea 5K/10K and Kids Run June 3rd!
The 3rd annual Owen Lea 5K/10K will be on Sunday, June 3rd, with the races kicking off at 7:30am. We will be running the Celebrate Virginia Parkway once again, starting from the Fitness 1440 Gym (Formerly Flex Appeal) at 570 Celebrate Virginia Parkway, in Fredericksburg, VA!
We are supported by Kent Barker and his BRATS organization and registration is now open! You can register at the IMATHLETE website.
